A nonprofit, community-based healthcare provider with 9 locations is adding a Family Medicine Physician. Serving rural northern Maine and operating a network of health centers across Aroostook, Penobscot, and Piscataquis counties. We deliver care to more than 20,000 residents, many of whom are in underserved or remote areas.

About the Opportunity:

Monday-Friday work week
Patient-centered medical home
On-site pharmacy
Services include physical and occupational therapy, chiropractic, massage, optometry, dental, and acupuncture
Staff include MDs, NPs, and PAs, Social workers, and strong support staff
Athena EMR
Manageable patient census
Robust salary compensation with a full benefits package

Community/Location:

A small, rural town in Piscataquis County with a population of around 4,000 residents
This area is known for its scenic setting along the Piscataquis River and its role as a regional service hub for surrounding communities.
Located about 35-40 miles northwest of Bangor, it offers a quieter lifestyle while still providing essential amenities, including grocery stores, schools, healthcare facilities, and local businesses.
